Committed to the region’s security, a C-5 aircraft from U.S. Air Forces Southern transported two fire trucks and rescue equipment worth $800 million to strengthen the work of the Volunteer Firefighters of San Marcos and Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, April 10, 2025. This delivery is part of the activities leading up to U.S. Southern Command- (SOUTHCOM) sponsored multinational exercise CENTAM Guardian 25, this year hosted by Guatemala, May 12-23, and reaffirms SOUTHCOM’s commitment to regional prosperity and security.
