As part of their commitment to peace and security in the region and in an effort to strengthen their relationship and expand their strategic partnership, Panamanian security forces and their U.S. counterparts are conducting joint training in Panama, in parallel to the Central American Security Conference (CENTSEC). Co-hosted by Panama and U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM), CENTSEC, April 8-10, seeks to promote and facilitate dialogue among regional defense and security leaders, focusing on common challenges and objectives.
