With the next edition of CENTAM Guardian fast approaching — set to take place in El Salvador — U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) and regional partners are once again preparing for this key multinational exercise. CENTAM Guardian brings together Central American and Caribbean partner nations to strengthen cooperation, improve humanitarian assistance and disaster response capabilities, and enhance military interoperability. Through command post and field training exercises, participating forces train together in areas such as security operations, medical response, and coordination during regional crises. The following photos highlight moments from past iterations of CENTAM Guardian, offering a glimpse into the teamwork that define the exercise.
