WHINSEC CGSOC Staff Ride in a Two-Century-Old Tradition

The staff ride is a tradition that began in Germany during the late 19th century as a tour of specific Napoleonic battle positions to train German general staff officers by studying the failures and successes of combat events that offer lessons which can be applied by future leaders.
