For more than 40 years, Joint Task Force Bravo (JTF-Bravo), operating under U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) and headquartered in Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, has been resolute in its commitment to Central America, providing humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, contributing to countering transnational organized crime, and coordinating trainings and multinational exercises while promoting partner nations cooperation to benefit the region and beyond. Devoted to a stable and secure Central America, JTF-Bravo has significantly invested in the welfare of the communities by providing medical and veterinary care, with an estimated impact of more than a million patients; building crucial infrastructure including roads and schools; and fostering regional economic growth. Its motto, Progress Through Unity, embodies the force’s unwavering dedication to the region. The following images are just a small sample of JTF-Bravo’s engagements in the region in the past few months.
