Four Bolivian citizens, three women and one man, were arrested on August 19 in Argentina’s Jujuy Province (northwest) bordering Bolivia. They were caught carrying 97 kilos of cocaine hidden in their car, reported the Argentinian National Gendarmerie (border guards).

The arrest occurred in the border town of La Quiaca about 1,208 miles northwest of Buenos Aires, when Gendarmerie trained dogs found the drugs hidden in the vehicle’s frame at a checkpoint.

Those arrested were at the disposal of the Federal Court of Jujuy, reported the Gendarmerie.
