Brazilian Police Seize Marijuana Coming From Paraguay

The police succeeded in intercepting the shipment on a highway between the municipalities of Itu and Araçariguama (in the interior of Sao Paulo state) after an anonymous tip about smuggling from Paraguay, the law-enforcement agency indicated.
Three people were arrested during the operation.
The shipment, hidden in a cargo of logs, was being transported in two trucks that had begun their journey in the state of Mato Grosso (in western Brazil) and were on their way to the state of Paraná (in southeastern Brazil).
