Rio de Janeiro will host two of the largest sports events in the world within the next five years: the FIFA World Cup and the Olympics, in addition to the Confederations Cup, the World Youth Day, and the papal visit to Brazil, still to come in 2013. But what legacy will these events leave behind? Without a doubt, a better prepared and equipped Military Police.
