In addition to restoring and refurbishing the Segure and Eureka national schools in Haiti, the Military Engineer Company “ECUADOR IV” provided them with adequate furniture, to support almost 1,000 children with limited resources.
The personnel for the Mission of Assistance for the Reconstruction of Haiti – Ecuador (Marhec), restored the educational institutions that were in bad condition, and equipped them with desks, garden chairs, medium-sized chairs, tables, playgrounds, sports accessories for the multi-purpose court, computer equipment and fans.
Now that the schools are open for enrollment, parents thanked the Ecuadorean group for improving the educational facilities, which are now in good condition and ready to carry on with the teaching-learning process.
