The Colombian National Army and the Technical Investigation Corps (CTI) of the Piendamó Prosecutor's Office partnered to destroy two cocaine laboratories in the Department of Cauca.

Service members destroyed 5,650 kilograms of coca leaves, 25 gallons of gasoline, and 20 kilograms of lime among other supplies and equipment found in the structures. The Army didn’t immediately report if any suspects were captured in connection with any of the raids, or which narcotrafficking or organized crime groups operated either of the laboratories.

The Army is asking residents to use hotline 146 to report any suspicious activity while it continues to combat violence and the trafficking of illicit goods nationwide.
