US Army Civil Affairs Team Oversees Desk Delivery in Guatemala

The U.S. Civil Affairs Team in Guatemala, part of U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) Joint Task Force Bravo (JTF-Bravo), assisted in facilitating a desk delivery between the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Guatemalan Armed Forces, and the local community, October 25, 2024. The desks, a total of 125, were donated to elementary schools of the rural community of Los Amates, Izabal department, Guatemala. The donation, which drew attendees from nearby communities, reinforces the United States’ enduring promise and commitment to its regional partners throughout Central America.
