The Brazilian federal Ministry of Justice has signed terms for the adhesion of 11 states of the federation to the Strategic Border Plan, which is going to enable access to 37 million reais in resources for investments in security. The plan is being coordinated by the Justice Ministry, in association with Defense, and aims to curb trafficking in weapons and drugs from neighboring countries.
