Basketball is one of the most popular sports in the world. It was created in 1891, in the United States, by James Naismith, a Canadian physical education teacher.

Currently, basketball is governed by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). The rules are the same for all countries where this sport is played, except for the U.S. professional basketball league, the NBA, which has its own peculiarities.

Under FIBA’s rules, the official playing time is forty minutes, divided into four ten-minute periods. In the NBA, each quarter last twelve minutes.

At the Military World Games, FIBA’s rules will be used. Only men will compete in this sport.

I would like to know if Sao Paulo military police officers can join Brazil's Men's Basketball Team. That’s all. Thank you. lakers kobe bryant solo
